Terms of service

The terms set out below apply to all orders placed with Koffieuitverkoop B.V. They apply to every country we deliver to.

Shipping costs

While completing your order you automatically see the shipping costs that apply to it. The rate depends on the country the order is being sent to.

Destination	Shipping costs
The Netherlands and Belgium	€ 6,95 including VAT. On orders of € 65 or more we deliver free of charge.
Other countries in the European Union	€ 12,95 including VAT.
Rest of Europe, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway	€ 19,95 including VAT.

Free shipping on orders of € 65 or more applies only to deliveries within the Netherlands and Belgium.

Delivery time

If you order before 22.00 on a working day and the order is going to an address in the Netherlands, we deliver the next working day. Delivery is handled by DPD.

For orders to Belgium and other countries, delivery takes longer. You can see the expected delivery time for your country during checkout.

After you have placed your order you receive an order confirmation. As soon as your parcel has been dispatched we send a dispatch confirmation with a track and trace code so you can follow the shipment. If DPD is unable to deliver, the parcel is offered again or left with your neighbours. If that is not possible either, the parcel is held for you at a pick-up point nearby.

Returns

You may return your order within 14 days without giving a reason. That cooling-off period starts on the day you received the order. After you have told us that you are cancelling the purchase, you have a further 14 days to actually send the products back.

Please send us an email stating what you are returning and which order it concerns. That allows us to process the return quickly. We then draw up a credit note and refund the amount. We may withhold the refund until we have received the products, or until you have demonstrated that you have sent them back. The cost of the return shipment is at your own expense.

If products reach us damaged, we may refuse the refund in whole or in part. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling the products beyond what was necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. That period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, acquired physical possession of the products.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of an unequivocal statement, for example by email or by post. You may use the model form below for this, but you are not obliged to do so. You are in time if you send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments you have made up to that point, including the delivery costs. Additional costs arising because you chose a more expensive method of delivery than our standard delivery are not reimbursed. If you return only part of your order, the delivery costs are not reimbursed.

We will reimburse you within 14 days after we have been informed of your decision, using the same means of payment as you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. We will not charge you any fees for that reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the products back or until you have demonstrated that you have sent them back, whichever is the earlier.

You must send the products back without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicated your decision to us. The direct cost of returning the products is at your expense.
